KLOVE Morning Show and Indianapolis!
by Rich
May 15, 2010
What a great time we had in Indianapolis! It all started with Chad, Scott and I paying a visit to the KLOVE Morning Show studios Friday morning (May 14th, 2010). We stopped in around 11:30am and met up with KC Wright (Morning Show producer). He took us on a tour of the studio introducing us to staff and DJs from KLOVE and Air 1. We talked about life, music, ministry, and the common heart we share in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. We had such a great time (he even threw in a copy of Mercy Me's new CD "The Generous Mr. Lovewell" for each of us... GREAT album). We did get all of this on video so be on the lookout for that.

We then met up with Eric Allen and Lisa Williams (KLOVE Morning Show DJs). At some point Lisa took over our video camera and did a Lisa cam for a bit which was fun. KC then took us into the studio itself where all the magic of the KLOVE Morning Show happens. We hung out in there and talked to Lisa and KC for a long time about the heart of Christian music and the future of KLOVE. We got some great insight to what radio is all about and the hard work and determination that it takes to make it in the music biz.

After chatting for a while we relaxed in the Green Room (where the artists get to hang out). We had a little bit of lunch and chatted with so many of the people on the staff. We had a great time talking with Jamin Baxter and Bethany Derringer from the Promotions department. We are looking forward to linking up with them in the future and doing a concert for a mission in Indianapolis that feeds needy children. Please be praying for that opportunity.

After all was said and done we spent about two hours hanging out with everyone at the studio. Let me just tell you that these people are the real deal. They love Jesus and love ministry. Their hearts for God really inspired the three of us in so many ways. They do their jobs with such great humility and integrity. We look forward to getting to see them all again. Who knows... maybe that next visit will be an interview with us for a new album :). All in God's timing.

Thank you KLOVE!!!!

After the KLOVE visit it was time for us to start preparing for our concert for that night at The Blended Church. We met up with one of Scott's friends from high school for lunch then headed back to our host home.

Side note - Our host family, Ty and Ann Bowman, were absolutely phenomenal hosts. We pray that God will allow us to cross paths with them again.

We relaxed a good bit and then headed to the church around 6pm to start setting up for the show.

After we set up our gear we headed back to the Bowman's for an absolutely delicious roast dinner. It was unreal. It was a shame that Eric and Andy were not with us until later in the evening. But, honestly, is was more food for me so I really didn't care. Hahahaha! Just kidding... sort of.

After dinner we met up with Eric and Andy at the church around 9pm. We made some last minute changes and did our sound checks. The gentleman that ran our sound, Dan, was great! He had such a servant's heart toward us and helped us out tremendously. He did a lot of running around to make sure we had the sound that we needed on the stage. Thanks Dan!

After our sound checks we took about a half hour break before taking the stage. We prayed and asked God to prepare our hearts as well as the hearts of those who were there to receive a transformation. And boy... did it happen. We had such a blast with everyone at the church. The crowd was so energetic. They went from jumping around at times to all out worship other times. It was a great concert all around.

Once the show ended we did a meet-and-greet with everyone there. Signed some autographs and shook some hands. Let me just say right here... this is our favorite part of our concerts. We love getting to meet all of our fans. It is our fans that keep us doing what we do. We love you guys so much.

The life that stood out to us the most out of all the people there was a young girl who was a cutter. I don't know what it is that God does in the hearts of cutters at our shows... but He just touches them in some way. Everyone of us in the band wants you guys to know that you are greatly valued in the eyes of your Creator. God loves you so much. You are priceless. In fact, He loves you so much that He gave His only Son as a sacrifice so that you can have an intimate relationship with Him. As the Third Day song says, "cry out to Jesus" in your times of despair. He is there longing to hold your heart.

Thanks to everyone in Indy for making our trip a memorable one. We will never forget you guys. We love you but more importantly, Jesus loves you. We hope to return soon.
New drummer and news!
by Rich
Jan 25, 2010
Happy New Year!! A lot has happened since our last post. To start with, we have a new drummer! Andy Blakemore has now taken the throne behind the set has our rythm man. He jumped on board back in September and has been a great blessing to all of us in the band.

ENGAGEMENTS:
Both Eric and Andy have been engaged for the past couple months! We are very excited for them and their future spouses Kayla and Amanda (respectfully). Congrats!

NEW THINGS:
We have entered into ALIVE Festival's talent search competition!! Voting begins April 2nd. Top 20 bands get to play at Alive! We'll keep you up-to-date as the voting day draws closer.

We are currently putting together a whole new show. We will be back in action late Spring early Summer. We are very excited about the new sound that is being produced and what God has in store for us.

Also, we are planning on hitting the studio this Fall for a full length album release! We have received nothing but great responses from all of our fans about our EP "Right Where You Are." And due to many demands we are going to be working on a full album. Hopefully we'll have it ready by Christmas for you all.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Please keep us lifted as Andy is working his way into the band.
- Alive '10 competition.
- Please pray for us as we are preparing a new show.
- Pray that God will touch our hearts as we are in the process of writing new music.
- Pray for the album.

Thanks for all your support in 2009. We are very excited about 2010 and all the blessings that God will bring.
